Health care workers have hard jobs, not just in times of pandemic. Even before COVID-19 made their work more stressful and dangerous, here's what one pediatric nephrologist wrote to colleagues when she gave them copies of Audrey Evans, Not Your Ordinary Doctor. "To my fellow 'fire fire' pediatricians, Thank you for all you do for children each and every day. Here’s some motivation to keep you going strong."

Yes, doctors, nurses, radiologists and radiographers, respiratory and other therapists, dieticians, food service personnel, maintenance staff and all who work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, doctors' offices, clinics, and research labs, deserve our thanks and admiration.
